Accounting Operations Senior Manager needed for Florida Aerospace and Defense facility. Works with management team to identify, plan for and develop strategies, services and activities to build the infrastructure to support current and future customer needs globally. Assist with global accounting and budgeting oversight and consolidation wherever applicable. Bachelors degree required in Accounting with international accounting experience and/or international business background. 5 to 10 years experience in managing people and running an operational function in an operational or a finance function, preferably a shared services environment. Experience in leading accounting oversight and the financial analysis in areas of budgeting, pricing models, business case analysis, and cost/benefit models. Experience with process improvement methodology and a champion of seeking improvements. Willing to travel internationally and relocate. Candidate Must Have: Bachelors degree required in Accounting with international accounting experience and/or international business background. 5 to 10 years experience in managing people and running an operational function in an operational or a finance function. Experience working in a shared services environment. Experience in leading accounting oversight and the financial analysis in areas of budgeting, pricing models, business case analysis, and cost/benefit models. Experience with process improvement methodology and a champion of seeking improvements. MBA preferred; PMP certification is a plus. Relocation: Yes. Standard company relocation package. Real Estate Tax Manager with a public accounting firm background is needed for New York City. The Tax Manager is responsible for the efficient, accurate, complete, and timely review of all clients tax returns including individual, trust, partnership and corporate tax returns and multi-state returns. Advanced technical skills in a variety of real estate tax areas, along with well-developed and applied management and supervisory skills are required. The Tax Manager makes decisions on all but the most unusual tax situations. A Tax Manager should generally have at least seven years experience. Qualifications: An undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting and/or other appropriate academic major, as well as CPA certification; Approximately 7+ years experience working in tax for a public accounting firm, or real estate industry experience; Working knowledge of GoSystem software a plus; Candidate Must Have: CPA Certification; Undergrad Degree in Accounting or similar; Worked at no more than 3 positions within the last 10 years; At least 2 of the last 3 positions held were at public accounting firms. Additional information: Please note we are looking for people who are going to be an obvious match for this role on paper. The majority focus of current experience must be in real estate tax. General experience in a number of tax areas or some limited exposure to real estate tax work is not acceptable. Bonus/Benefits: Bonus is based on performance and other considerations.
